- Scissors
- Pins
- Sewing machine

Note: The fabric amounts mentioned above are for a lap-sized quilt (approximately 50″ x 60″). Adjust the quantities accordingly if you wish to make a larger or smaller quilt.
Instructions
- Begin by cutting the assorted cotton prints into squares measuring 6″ x 6″. You will need a total of 48 squares.
- Next, cut the solid background fabric into 6″ x 6″ squares. You will need a total of 28 squares.

- Sew the squares together using a 1/4-inch seam allowance. Press the seams open.

- Using your sewing machine, quilt the layers together by stitching along the seams or creating a design of your choice.
- Trim any excess fabric or batting, and square off the edges of the quilt.
- Bind the edges of the quilt using fabric strips or pre-made binding, following your preferred binding method.
- Give the quilt a final press with an iron, and voila! Your Sewing Notions Quilt is complete and ready to be cherished.
